Certificate of Completion
Project Close-Out
No Land Use Activity shall be occupied, used, or operated, in whole or in part, without a Certificate of Completion
Temporary Certificates
The Permittee may request a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy, or Use, when the project is substantially complete, the Punchlist has been created, and no life safety issues exist.
Partial Certificates
The Permittee may request a Partial Certificate of Occupancy, or Use, when a certain distinct portion of a larger activity is substantially complete and ready for use or occupancy.
Final Certificates
The Permittee may request a final Certificate of Completion when all closeout documents and any outstanding submittals, have been submitted. Requests must include, as applicable:
- A Stamped letter or, as warranted, a Certificate of Substantial Completion from the Design Professional in Responsible Charge;
- A copy of the Punchlist and evidence that each item has been completed or otherwise resolved; and,
- Record Drawings in conformance with MPTN Record Drawing Standards (Title 10 L.U.R.).
